The Bear Paw Quilt Co. was established January 2002 in downtown Flora Illinois. What started out to be a hobby (the love of quilting) has now grown into 5 day per week life fulfillment, which is being able to pass along the art and love of quilting. Bear Paw has expanded three times since we started in 2002, now fill three buildings with over 10,000 bolts of quilting and novelty fabric. As well as a great selection of sewing related gifts.

IQA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the art of quilting, the attainment of public recognition for quilting as an art form, and the advancement of the state of the art throughout the world. IQA supports many projects and activities, including a grant program, which funds research and other quilt-related projects, and an annual Judged Show of members' work, Quilts: A World of Beauty, held at International Quilt Festival in Houston every fall, and where in 2003 $70,250 in cash prizes will be awarded to winners. The organization also sponsors Patchwork & Quilt Expo, the largest biennial international quilting conference in Europe.
