These are needed for the site to work and to help us improve it. They are handled on our own servers and the data never leaves Valdani.

• Basic site function: your session, cart, language and region.
• Self-hosted usage analytics (Umami): pages viewed, approximate device and browser, and the page that referred you.
• Before you log in: this information is anonymous.
• After you log in: so we can support your account, it is linked to your account details — your client ID, name, email, account type and currency.

Advertising & Google analytics (only with your consent)

These run only if you click "Accept", and never before. If you decline, they stay off and no advertising cookies are set.

• Google Analytics (GA4): anonymous measurement of how the site is used.
• Google Ads: measures whether a visit or purchase came from one of our ads (conversion tracking), so we can advertise responsibly.
• Before you log in: anonymous measurement only.
• After you log in or place an order: we send the order reference, order value and currency to confirm a purchase. We do not send your name, address or payment details to Google.
