My pattern is simple to follow. It has a list of the suggested materials used and also has simple, basic instructions and stitches. The embroidered area on the needle roll is approximately 2 1/2" high by 5 1/2" wide. The finished project is approximately 10 1/2" long and 8" in circumference. The little heart box is approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Please feel free to enlarge if desired. An 8" hoop is suggested. Design is stitched using Valdani perle cotton but a link to an online DMC conversion chart is included. Valdani also sells 3 and 6 strand embroidery floss if you prefer to use that instead of pearl cotton, and these come in smaller increments so are a less expensive choice.
