When I was designing the pattern, I couldn’t decide which color version to make, so I decided to make both, but in different sizes. I made the larger version with the black background, and the smaller version with the lighter background. Both tapestries are stitched with gorgeous variegated hand dyed threads by Valdani Threads – the larger using Perle Cotton 12, and the smaller using 3 strand embroidery floss.
